Dr Emilie Field
BSc BVMS
Emilie graduated with a degree in Veterinary Science from Murdoch University in 2011 and her passion for small animal medicine landed her a veterinarian role at Success Veterinary Hospital in Western Australia that same year. After several years living and working in Perth, Emilie and her family made the move back to the Northern Beaches in April 2015 and we are thrilled to have her on board here at Bilgola.
Emilie enjoys the diversity of general practice and is committed to providing a high quality of care to her patients. A very warm and compassionate vet, Emilie has a strong belief that every pet should be treated like family, and she brings this kind-hearted attitude with her when caring for our sick patients.
When not at work, Emilie can often be seen walking her two Spoodles Teddy and Koko around Bilgola.

Dr Chelia Law
BVSc MANZCVS (Small Animal Surgery)

She continued to work in the General Practice and Emergency and Critical Care department before coming to Bilgola Vet Clinic in early 2020.
She is currently pursuing continuing education in surgery and hopes to become a surgical specialist. Outside of work, Chelia likes to travel, hang out with friends and work on her craft projects.

Dr Danny Fernandes

After initially training as an Ecologist in Cape Town and spending a year and a half traveling and working in New Zealand and Southern Africa, a desire to combine a love for animals and the environment with the hands-on approach of veterinary medicine meant a return to university, graduating with a BVSc from the University of Pretoria in 2018.
Time away from work for Danny generally involves surfing, skateboarding, trail running, playing guitar and early morning ocean swims. He also hopes to explore more of Australia and the Pacific Islands.
